Violation of this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.
Services are billed according to the pricing displayed at the time of purchase. Payment is due in advance for all services. We accept major credit cards, PayPal, and cryptocurrency payments.
Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice for existing customers. Failure to pay may result in service suspension.
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on new VPS orders. Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the initial purchase. Refunds do not apply to renewals, upgrades, or accounts terminated for policy violations.
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for all services. In the event of downtime exceeding our SLA, customers may be eligible for service credits. Scheduled maintenance windows are not counted toward downtime calculations.
While we provide backup services, you are ultimately responsible for maintaining backups of your data. PrivateByte is not liable for data loss resulting from hardware failure, user error, or account termination.
PrivateByte shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for services in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Either party may terminate services with 30 days written notice. We reserve the right to immediately terminate accounts that violate these terms or our acceptable use policy.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through our website.
